The way they (american) make jam
(PHOTOS) is totally different then we do it in the Netherlands. For example you can make jam without cooking. It's easy: smash some strawberries (500 ml), put 1 liter sugar to it, and then finish it with pectine. Let it stay for 10 minutes and then put it the tins. Ready. You
have to keep it in the freezer, but it taste very good and very fresh. I will take some pectine home, because I'm not sure we have this in the Netherlands.
