Quilt fun in the summer

I'm not a very faithfull blogger anymore. I think the problem is Facebook ; ). But I had a lovely summer with lots of quiltfun with friends. Just an impression of all kind of things I did.
I bought Dieuwke the new book of Willyne and we started together one of her quilts. It's our wednesday evening project. I'm a little behind so this vacation I have to catch up.
Cats quilt, we don't even have a cat, but I started this during the Feather Weightday at Atelier Bep. It's almost finished ; ).
Had lots of quiltfun with Alexine and Stephanie (her daughter) with the plastic table cloth of her ex-husband. We not sure if he already found out what we did with it. Great project. Makes you cheerful.

My quiltfriend Emma moved to France, not a good idea of her, but not too far away so in november we will have quilt week together. There is always something to look forward.
My doggie bag. I found this fabric during our trip in Germany. It's so cute. Love making bags.

Of course we had our international quiltbee on wednesday evening. So fun I hope Marne will come to the Netherlands again.

Dieuwke and I follow to 'happy hours' at the quilterspalet. One of them was decorating this little box.

And we now know all about zippers as well. Not my forte I must say.
And don't you love piggie. Piggie moved to my sister. Matches great with her new sofa.
Made a lunch bag for my sister in law all coffee fabrics I found in my stack. I'm trying to reduce my stack and Ufo's. Well it's just a small step forward .........
And I made a quilttop for Jeltje, it was a race against the clock. Jeltje wrote a little childrens book, and inside is a quiltpattern. It had to be finished before the exposition in Deventer, just two weeks. But with some help of Dieuwke I managed. Every spare moment, even during the bbq of Bo and Maurice.

Oh, I love the little boxes. Does Evy have a pattern? I found a lady who lives in Washington and her shop sells Simply Vintage magazines in English. And she is much cheaper than me ordering from France. Oh I am happy!
