After two years I finished the top of my X-mas quilt. The quilt is made with german fabrics http://www.westfalenstoffe.de/. The back is made with the leftovers. So last week I started sandwiching the quilt. I don't like sandwiching very much, I think it's rather boring, but it's part of the process. I use a spoon to pick-up the needle. The spoon is from my childhood, so that makes it special. So the challenge is: will this quilt be finished before X-mas 2008.

I must say, this quilt turned out real well. Enjoy the quilting. I'm sure you will finish before Christmas 2008.
Cute! I have never made a Christmas quilt - perhaps you will shame me into making one. Hmmm.

I love Westphalenstoffe fabrics, but they are expensive in North America - such a sweet quilt - of course it will be finished by Christmas 2008!
This morning I am finishing my spring tabletopper, Lavender Parterre and planning the next project for my teaching website. Love looking through blogs for inspiration!
