Life is wonderful. My biggest problem this morning was choosing between a collection antique roses fabrics or a collection wild bright colourful fabrics. On sunday 25 juli I will be following a masterclass "hot diamonds" from Kaffe Fasset in D
eventer.I think it will be very interesting. His colours and fabrics are completely opposite of the fabrics I used the work with, reproduction fabrics, or antique quilts.
So I kept myself and the owner of the Quiltshop 100 Roses for 1,5 hour busy, doubting doubting, what will I do, ...... antique fabrics or bright modern fabrics. Well, I finally choosed for the bright modern fabrics, I mean if you're going to follow a masterclass of Kaffe Fasset, at least you want to end up with a "Kaffe Fasset" Quilt.

Those are certainly NOT your usual fabric choices. Everything I read says we must sometimes work outside our usual box - so you will surely be expanding your borders! Very exciting class.
Heel anders dan je normale keuzes maar het zijn prachtige stoffen om te zien. Ik ben benieuwd naar de quilt. Hoe gaat het met je restauratie werkzaamheden? De sterren blokken waren ook al zo mooi.
