Updating
It's amazing, almost end of june, and still no summer here. Sometimes we are lucky and we can sit outside. But mostly the tempartures are far below the average. What happened the last weeks. First I finished my businesscase Financial Management, now it's waiting for the results. In januar I start with last my last two subjectS. So from now till januar no study duties. What shall I do with my time ; )?
I started a new Spakenburger project, the idea is to use all my leftovers. Between now and januar I want to finish my three Spakenburger projects. I will keep you posted about my progress.
And wednesday I celebrated the finishing of my businesscase with Emma and Lucy, choclate cake and quilting time. What else is there to wish.

The red 1600 inch quilt
I love the 1600 inch quilt. This is the second one I have made. And there is a third waiting.
You really can say it's a quick quilting project. You never know how it will turn out exactly, but for some reason they always turn out suprisingly well. This one is for my cousin, she's having a hard time at the moment.
I just used all my red scraps, and Marne did all the cutting in 2,5 inch strips. If you want to make one as well, here is the pattern:

Girls on their own.
My friend Yolande, we always have fun | ! |
Rob left a week ago on thursday with his friend Tale for a cycling trip in Germany. Mies (our dog) and I are watching the house.
Are we lonely? No way, there is a lot going on. Yolande my friend came last saturday for some shopping and dinner, lots of studying, lots of work, fitness twice a week, long walk with Mies every day, the girls from the Mutsenclub on thursday for dinner, lunch and sunbathing with Emma friday morning, and dinner with Dieuwke, Eric and Willem at my favorite restaurant Tabasco Hapjesbar in the Theresiastraat. No time to get bored. And not much cooking ; ).
Rob and Tale are cycling through Germany. Houses in Trier. |
